Bedding and fresh towels are included along with access to insuite laundry and a shared bathroom. We make every effort to ensure you are comfortable during your stay although you are responsible for keeping your room clean, doing your own laundry etc. I generally do the cooking as we're often home at dinner, however should you enjoy cooking we can talk. The cost of the room includes breakfast and a vegetarinan dinner which is great for busy students, right? You would prepare your own breakfast or if you're into into it, you can join us for a light morning meal between 7am and 8am. If you are not vegetarian, no problem but you'll need to BYOM. (buy your own meat :) ) We look forward to meeting you and hope you enjoy your stay with us. Guest access You have full access to our shared space and we will make every effort to ensure your comfort and safety. Do you like to cook? Great! We are happy to do that together. Take a stroll or borrow a book from our in-house library and then bring it up to one of the two rooftop gardens or our private patio. We are often home in the evenings and love to watch baseball and or Netflix. We hope you'd feel comfortable joining us in our common living space. There is wi-fi in our apartment and in the lobby of the building. We appreciate students who love kids as we have a seven year old. It's important to us that you want to be part of our family and our community. We'd love to hear about your studies and travels and would enjoy getting to know you. We also respect your need for privacy. Your cozy room is 2 blocks away from the seawall which boasts 20+ km of running and biking paths and 15 minutes to the best fresh food market in town. Granville Island is home to a great fresh produce market, theatres, artisan shops and restaurants. Our location is probably the best in the city if you consider that it is close to the downtown core but not so close that the noise will be an issue at night. The train stations are a 10-minute walk either way which provides direct access to the major centres in the lower mainland. There's a bus stop around the corner and the seawall takes you where ever you want to go along the ocean. In our lovely Village we have Urban Fare, a supermarket, community centre, London Drugs, Legacy Liquor Store, a bank and pub and two restaurants, one of which features 120 craft beer on tap! There are coffee shops galore, medical and dental clinics and new restaurants popping up all the time.

My cozy little apartment is up for rent for the summer! It is one block from all of Main Street's awesome restaurants, bars, grocery stores and coffee shops and is a super vibrant area. The 25 stops right in front of the house and it's about an 8 minute walk to the King Edward station on the Canada Line. There is always street parking within two blocks of the house, but most often right outside is available. 1300$/ month plus internet ($70ish/month). Entire furnished apartment, available May - August with possibility for longer term in the smaller room. Ensuite private laundry, cat friendly. Private entrance and great landlords who live right upstairs if you need them. One room is a king size bed and the other is a double bed. At 650 sq/ft be aware that it's not a huge apartment, but it's cozy and warm and lovely! If you're tall though, like above 6'7", you might not want to live here unless you like hitting your head on door frames. Also, the coffee table is too big for the living room and you might hit your shins. I'm sorry. The couch pulls out into a very uncomfortable sofa bed that you can let your friends you don't like very much stay on when they come to visit. Couples are welcome, as are three people, however if you have three in here rent may increase to cover cost of utilities. This is a strictly NON 4/20 apartment. This is best suited for someone without their own furniture or a ton of stuff as the apartment is already furnished. I will be putting a lot of my own things into storage to make room for you, but am fine to leave out whatever kitchen appliances you're into. My TV has no cable but a Roku, so you can access your Netflix account which is all I've ever needed. **The landlords will have to meet and approve you.
