My cozy little apartment is up for rent for the summer! It is one block from all of Main Street's awesome restaurants, bars, grocery stores and coffee shops and is a super vibrant area. The 25 stops right in front of the house and it's about an 8 minute walk to the King Edward station on the Canada Line. There is always street parking within two blocks of the house, but most often right outside is available. 1300$/ month plus internet ($70ish/month). Entire furnished apartment, available May - August with possibility for longer term in the smaller room. Ensuite private laundry, cat friendly. Private entrance and great landlords who live right upstairs if you need them. One room is a king size bed and the other is a double bed. At 650 sq/ft be aware that it's not a huge apartment, but it's cozy and warm and lovely! If you're tall though, like above 6'7", you might not want to live here unless you like hitting your head on door frames. Also, the coffee table is too big for the living room and you might hit your shins. I'm sorry. The couch pulls out into a very uncomfortable sofa bed that you can let your friends you don't like very much stay on when they come to visit. Couples are welcome, as are three people, however if you have three in here rent may increase to cover cost of utilities. This is a strictly NON 4/20 apartment. This is best suited for someone without their own furniture or a ton of stuff as the apartment is already furnished. I will be putting a lot of my own things into storage to make room for you, but am fine to leave out whatever kitchen appliances you're into. My TV has no cable but a Roku, so you can access your Netflix account which is all I've ever needed. **The landlords will have to meet and approve you. The bedroom available is the master bedroom. It is quite large. It does come unfurnished however furnishings are available. The one bathroom, living room, and kitchen would be shared between you, and myself. Some of the big questions you'll probably want answers to: Rent: $850 a month. (utilities and internet included) I'm slightly negotiable on this. Pets: Also welcome. I have two of my own, contained in terrariums. There is a non-refundable 100$ deposit to the building owners if you have a furred friend. Apparently they've had to deal with horror stories. For parking: the street around us is free and almost never full. We do have a garage, however I'm not too sure of the pricing of that myself. I know there is an extra charge for that. I could definitely ask the owners though. There is also a roommate agreement that would be like a lease agreement for any new roommate. Pretty common sense things, noise, guests, timely rent.

I have a room available in my bedroom basement suite. The bedroom is unfurnished but the rest of the house is. Rent is $875, no extra charges. Wifi, heat, electricity, are all included. The house was built last year and has heated floors, granite tables, a dishwasher, and in-suite laundry. It is right next to the 33 and 99 that goes to UBC. It is also right next to the 17 going downtown. It is a 5 minute walk to Cambie Village or the hospitals. I'm a queer female and in my early twenties. I get off work in the evenings, so it would be best if you stayed up around midnight too or if you are a heavy sleeper. I won't be home a few nights a week with with work. I'm pretty easy going with everything. Unfortunately no pets or smoking on the premise. You can park on the street with a permit. Looking forward to hearing from you.
